The e-Claims Processing solution provides the BMC Group Project Management team and other case participants a collaborative workspace for sharing, tracking, and publishing documents. When documents are posted or revisions are made to documents, the e-claims system sends real-time alerts providing automatic e-mail notifications of applicable changes. In addition, the system provides document archiving of court dockets and other imaged documents including claims, contracts, pleadings, correspondence, and notices. Built with top security in mind, case teams are provided with user and group-level security to better manage user access for viewing, modifying, and posting documents in a secure, online environment.


Claims processing system tracks information including:

  • Data Relationship Management — centralizes management of complex data relationships between creditors, claims, schedules, AP data, contracts, preference actions, notices, motions and orders.

  • Schedules and Claims Management — provides a repository for assets and liabilities’ schedules created, maintains claims register and other scanned images.

  • Claims Reconciliation Management — tracks reconciliations information on claims, flags objections, tracks reconciliation notes, tracks claim status, and reconciles invoices against accounts payable information.

  • Preference Action Management — produces information on potential preference actions including review of defenses, generates and tracks demand letters, maintains correspondence, and manages collections.

  • Contract/Lease Management — facilitates contracts for assumption and rejection, manages contract parties for noticing, determining rejection damages, tracks cure payments, and monitoring related claims.
